
ASUS, the world’s top 3 consumer notebook vendor has announced their up coming new tablet, namely Eee Pad Slider. Asus Eee Pad Slider is dual core tablet laptop and designed with curved edges, chrome edging around the sides, a black glossy bezel around the display, with a big ‘home’ button, flanked by touch-sensitive menu and back buttons. The ASUS Slider tablet will be release in May 2011 with starting price at €800 or about799$ for ASUS Eee Pad Slider 64GB version and at €500 or about 499$ for ASUS Eee Pad Slider 16GB version.
The device is packs with a 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolutions, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GPU, optional 16GB to 64GB flash storage, QWERTY keyboard for comfortable typing, rear-facing 5-megapixel web camera with LED flash, front-facing 1.2 megapixel web camera, e-compass, proximity sensor, light sensor, G-sensor, gyro sensor and powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9.
The Eee Pad Slider also sports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, optional onboard 3G, built-in speakers, support Adobe Flash, GPS, micro USB, micro HDMI for connect to external device and standart battery that allowing up to 8 hours of battery life. The ASUS Eee Pad Slider tablet computer also support support 1080p HD video and Adobe flash and made for the ultimate in mobile flexibility and productivity and offer a full multimedia experience with HD video and gaming.
